love is like water, in a sense. it can be calm and serene and safe and clear. or it can be rough and dark and scary and threatening. it can flow over you, making you feel warm and secure. or it can crash into your face, like a sharp realization. like a reality check.
there are two types of love in this world
there is love that is genuine. love that does not scare you, love that feels calm and safe, like a warm blanket. this love will feel like something you cannot let go of, and this is the love you should keep.
and then there is the love that feels wrong. the love that feels as though something is off. you love this love but it feels full of impurities & sins. it doesn’t feel right, it feels like a crime within your heart. this love will feel like constant cold, and this is the love you let go.
